When coming in for your pet's appointment, please remember your pet maybe be a little uneasy around new people and animals. Your pet and others in the waiting area will appreciate the extra care.

Whether your pet requires elective surgery (such as spaying, neutering, or declawing) or needs corrective surgery, we have a clean, well-equipped surgical suite.

For safety and quicker recovery of your pet, we use Isofluorane (gas) anesthesia. We also monitor your pet's vital signs during surgery using pulse oximetry (checking heart rate and blood oxygen levels).

To decrease anesthetic risk to our patients, we recommend pre-operative blood analysis to detect any hidden medical problems. It includes complete blood counts (CBC), liver test (ALT), kidney test (BUN), and a diabetes screen.

Please call ahead to schedule your pet's appointment. In addition, we ask you do the following:

  • Take up your food after 8:00pm the night before surgery

Give yourself peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands while you are away - at our hospital where the doctor can check any boarder needing special attention.

Dogs are individually taken outside twice daily for walks in the wooded area behind our clinic for a potty break and playtime while their run or kennel is cleaned.

Boarding facility sizes range from small kennels to large runs. Boarding fees and kennel size is based on your pet's size and needs.

Your pet is invited to bring luggage with him/her for their stay or food if they are on a special diet, but please don't bring any items that will upset you or your pet if lost or damaged.
